A recently refurbished ex-Victorian schoolhouse set within the Conservation Area of a charming rural village in the heart of Staffordshire
Welcome to Chebsey Parish Hall and to our website.
If you are not already familiar with this most charming of Community Halls, we hope this website will entice you to come and see it for yourself. Better still, we hope it will encourage you to utilise the excellent facilities that it has to offer, to join in some of the activities that take place here or to attend one of the cultural or social events that are put on in the hall from time to time.
If you live locally and are familiar with the Hall already, we hope it will serve to keep you informed of developments and of upcoming events so that you can plan your participation.
The Hall is here to provide a useful facility for all who live within the Parish of Chebsey but we welcome those who live beyond the Parish who wish to take advantage of its amenities too.
In recent years, a major refurbishment programme has been carried out and we are sure that all who come here will be impressed by the modern day standards of the decoration, comfort, hygiene and catering facilities that we are now able to offer within this characterful building. The year 2015 saw a continuation of this programme with enhancements to the heating system and the restoration of the parquet floor which (as the picture opposite shows) has transformed the appearance of the main Hall Room. And in 2016 the outside toilet block was renovated and the yard at the rear of the Hall was re-paved.
We look forward to welcoming you here.
